Biography

Miss Atharva Kale is a second year PhD (Medicine and Health) student at the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research is related to a novel insulin secretion pathway in beta cells and whether targetting the pathway can improve insulin secretion and islet transplantation outcomes. She completed her Honours (in Applied Medical Science) with the same group at the Centre for Transplant and Renal Research at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research, Australia.
