Biography

After completing a doctorate in science at Hiroshima University Graduate School in 1999, I went to the United States and worked as a postdoctoral fellow and senior research scientist at the University of Southern California, where I conducted a basic research of molecular biology for mouse development and stem cells. I returned to Japan in 2015, worked as a research staff at RIKEN and Kobe University, and then joined to StemCell Institute, a private cord blood bank in 2017. At StemCell Institute, I have served as an executive officer of the Department of Comprehensive Planning and, then the Department of Cellular Technology.
