Marta L Monteverde is a pediatric nephrologist, Chief of the Renal Transplant Unit at Hospital de Pediatria “Juan P. Garrahan”, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She completed a residency in pediatrics at “Ricardo Gutiérrez'' Children’s Hospital in Buenos Aires, in which she was Chief Resident and Instructor in Pediatrics. There, she also completed her pediatric nephrology training. She did her transplant training at Hospital de Pediatria J P Garrahan, being staff since 1991, and at the University Hospital of Bellvitge, in Barcelona, with Dr. Josep Grinyó. Presently she’s vice president of the Argentine Society of Transplantation. She also deeply enjoys actively working for IPTA with colleagues from all part of the world.
