Learning Objectives

- After attending the event, attendees will improve their knowledge on how to manage patients in a lung transplant waiting list and will translate it to the practice in the field of device implantation.
- Participants will also be able to evaluate lung transplant candidates for transplantation and to analyze risk factors in such a limited population.
- Pandemia became a challenge for the whole world but especially for lung candidates and transplant recipients and during the symposium the impact of COVID-19 on lung transplantation will be highlighted. This will be helpful to develop skills for working with such patients and to adapt treatment algorithms to the new reality.
